It does this with two important blends: a tetraphage blend of innovative bacteriophages, and our proprietary probiotic blend.

Proprietary probiotic blend

All healthy individuals have billions of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract that are essential for healthy digestion, nutrient absorption and elimination of waste. Probiotics are supplements and foods that contain specific strains of healthy bacteria.

Probiotics support optimal digestive health, in part by helping to keep undesirable bacteria at bay. But that’s not all. Properly formulated probiotics can offer health benefits for the entire body. They can positively modulate cell-signaling pathways and promote healthy immune and inflammatory responses.

Florassist® gi doesn’t deliver just one probiotic strain, but six: l. Acidophilus la-14, b. Lactis bl-04, l. Paracasei lpc-37, l. Rhamnosus lr-32, b. Bifidum/lactis bb-02 and b. Longum bb536®. Together, there are 15 billion colony forming units (or cfus) per capsule of these probiotic strains.

Tetraphage blend

A bacteriophage is a tiny bundle of dna or rna encased in a protein envelope. Each one attaches to a specific strain of unwanted bacteria in the intestines. The tetraphage blend contains four bacteriophages that only target strains of bacteria known to inhibit probiotics.

Dual-encapsulation technology

The beginning of your digestive tract is a very inhospitable place. One of the complications of making a high-quality probiotic supplement is that the beneficial bacterial strains that thrive in the lower intestine won’t make it past the stomach or upper intestines, and that can greatly limit their beneficial effects.

Florassist® gi utilizes a dual-encapsulation softgel that protects the probiotics inside, delivering an unprecedented amount of live bacterial colony forming units (cfus) to where the body needs them most. Furthermore, the strains selected for our probiotic blend are particularly acid-resistant, so maximal amounts of the beneficial probiotics get to your intestinal tract where they can promote optimal digestion.
