Inhalo Nasal Dry Salt Inhaler

InHalo Dry Salt Nasal Inhalers help relieve temporary symptoms such as a stuffy nose, congestion and the unpleasant effects of an allergy, which may be associated with certain upper respiratory (nasal) complaints.

The pack contains

1          A salt cartridge which contains 5 grams of natural, unprocessed fossil salt crystals including sodium chloride, magnesium and calcium in different natural forms

2          A Vapour Rod (only for nasal use) A completely natural formula containing menthol, essential oil from castor seeds, eucalyptus, spearmint, peppermint, lavender, flower leaf and clove.

Use the salt mine with or without the vapour rod.  When used without the vapour rod the salt inhaler alleviates symptoms of allergy discomfort and upper respiratory tract complaints. When used with the vapour rod, the soothing cooling vapour alleviates nasal discomfort including a stuffy nose. The vapour rod should only be used for children over the age of 5, without the vapour rod the dry salt inhaler can be used for children over 3 years.

How to use

NASAL USE:

Recommended for adults and children over the age of 3 years (without vapour rod) and children over the age of 5 years (with vapour rod).

NASAL INHALATION (UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT):

• Remove the cap from the device.
• Gently squeeze one nostril, while you insert the device with the nasal applicator into the other nostril
• Breathe normally
• After inhaling, exhale through your mouth or through the nostril that you squeezed shut while inhaling.
• This exhaling phase is indispensable for achieving the most efficient therapeutic effect.
• Make sure the air you exhale does not enter the device, because any vapour in it may reduce its therapeutic effect.
• USING WITHOUT THE VAPOUR ROD
• ‍Use the inhaler for 15 to 20 minutes without interruption, or divide the period of use into three parts of 7 to 10 minutes every day. Use it continuously for 21 days.

‍ ‍USING WITH THE VAPOUR ROD

• ‍Remove the transparent lower cap covering the cartridge. Insert the vapour rod into the vapour rod holder and press the holder into the bottom oft he salt cartridge until it clicks.
• Put back the transparent lower part protecting the cartridge. Use the inhaler with the nasal adapter 3 times a day for 1 to 2 minutes each time for the first week. Gradually increase the period of use by 1 to 2 minutes every week, for three weeks. Put the cap back on after each use.

 WARNINGS

• DO NOT use the inhaler in cases of severe pulmonary failure
• In case of acute diseases or high blood pressure consult a doctor before use
• Sharng the device is not recommended
• This product does not replace current medication and should be used in conjunction with medially prescribed therapies upon consultation with your doctor
• Wipe mouthpiece clean after each use
• Do not allow saliva or other liquids to pass through or enter the device
• Do not shake or drop the device as this could cause salt crystals to break apart  – it is important that the salt crystals remain in the device to avoid any transitory irriation
• Contain small parts – keep out of reach of children
• For children 5 years and over with the Vapour Rod and 3 years and over without the Vapour Rod. Requires adult supervision
