As a distillery in El Segundo, a beach town in California, we wanted to create a West Coast experience and put it in a can. So we made the West Coast Mule. At R6 we use handcrafted ingredients, batched at our local distillery, and delivered fresh.

So what’s in it?  R6 grain-to-glass, 20x distilled, award-winning vodka with ginger, lime, and fizz.  This drink comes in at 10.1% alcohol by volume, which truly provides two cocktails in one can (each can is 12 fluid ounces). The West Coast Mule is also gluten free and non-GMO. All R6 cans are recyclable to help minimize our environmental footprint for both R6 DISTILLERY and the consumer of this deliciously refreshing product!

THE DISTILLERY

R6 is a family and veteran owned distillery in El Segundo, California, just south of Los Angeles International Airport.
We distill and create recipes for dozens of spirits and non-alcoholic beverages at our facility, and in 2017 opened our facility to service other brands.

 

MASTER DISTILLER


Rob Rubens
Rob fell in love with the art of distilling after his first (unplanned) trip to New Orleans Rum Distillery. He knew it was time for a change. After spending the better part of a decade in corporate America and realizing that was not his path, Rob visited distilleries and breweries and decided it was time to make waves. Coupling his experience with his desire to bring quality spirits to Los Angeles, Rob opened this speakeasy inspired distillery for everyone to enjoy. In his spare time, Rob likes to hike, sky dive, tour live music, attempt the piano, and try to save his sanity by traveling the world.
Prior to founding R6, Rob ambitiously completed his undergraduate studies in 2.3 years, achieving designation as Summa Cum Laude and his Graduate Degree with distinction. Rob also holds multiple financial certifications and designations.
