Artisan-Made Rare Vintage 1:12 Miniature Dollhouse Hand-Painted Drop Leaf Table by Karen Steely

Rare and gorgeous hand painted drop leaf table by Karen Steely was originally purchased at a private miniature estate. Made of wood and painted with intricate details on the sides, top, and both leaves. The legs are striped with blue, black, and white and both the front and back underneath the top have a pretty fruit and floral pattern in pinks, green, and white. The drop leaf accents on either side are attached with metal hinges and have two different but similar-looking baskets of flowers in matching pinks, green, pale blue and white. The top has a beautiful hand-painted scene of a blue sky with clouds, trees, a house, grass, and four women decked in pretty dresses reclining in the field playing games and petting the family cat (dog? rabbit?). So many pretty details! Please note that it appears as though the table has a drawer with a knob on one end but the drawer is currently either stuck or it was a faux drawer to begin with (please see photos). The table is not signed by the artist as far as I can tell, but it was originally purchased at an estate of a woman who collected rare miniatures and had many pieces by Natasha and other artists and she kept lots of detailed notes, along with a label on this particular piece. Other than the original owner's notes though, please note that we do not have any documentation on this piece. It's a beautiful piece though and a must have for a collector or as a showcase piece addition to a dollhouse or diorama. Other than the drawer issue it's in near pristine-condition! All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
