Vintage 1:12 Miniature Dollhouse Silver Metal 'Spirit of '76' Figurine
Vintage miniature figurine is made out of silver metal (possibly pewter) and is a depiction of the painting titled 'Spirit of '76' by Archibald Willard and features two drummers and a fifer marching across a battlefield in the American Revolution. The painting was created around 1876 in Cleveland, Ohio and was meant to be a symbol of patriotism. The three men depicted have amazing detailing and are mounted on a base with what used to have "Spirit of '76' on the bottom, but only the last two numbers are legible now (please see photos). Excellent vintage condition and perfect for using as décor on a mantel, in a curio or cabinet, or on a table in any room of your dollhouse. Rare and hard to find in this size!
Measures a little over .75" long x .25" wide x almost .75" tall.
All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
