With this Screen Door Chardonnay you can expect a bright, vibrant, yellow color in the glass, and distinct aromatics of lemon curd, apricot, creme brûlée, wet stone, lime zest and flint on the nose.

Our winemakers affectionately say this wine has ‘juevos’ thanks to its split-aging; spending time in concrete eggs, neutral French oak and new French barrels. The result is a mouthfeel and flavor both rich and full, with a smooth entry and bright citrus acidity that sticks with you. 

You’ll appreciate the minerality throughout the taste, and savor the perfectly creamy finish of this Screen Door Chardonnay. Pair it with good food and better company.

A Texas boy by birth, winemaker Bobby Donnell moved to Sonoma chasing his dream of one day making incredible wines for good folks everywhere.

From doing analysis to long hours and sticky hands from working harvests, Bobby paid his dues. Today, he's living out that dream; making Pinot and Chardonnay he believes in, and working with winegrowers that "hang the best fruit in the business".
