ABOUT THE WINERY

Feeling frustrated with the lack of quality rosé options available to enjoy with his friends and family, Barry Bayat set out to create the world’s most exceptional elegant rosé.

That was how Barry found himself in the vineyards of the south of France. It was early 2019, and Barry had decided to leave behind a long career in finance. He traveled to Côtes de Provence, a region known for its exquisite terroir and unparalleled grapes, in search of a talented winemaker. With only one contact and through countless visits across different vineyards and chateaux, Barry finally found him, and together they crafted the first vintage of RUMOR Rosé.

An elegant rosé crafted from the finest Provençal grapes, RUMOR immediately captivated people’s attention and palates across Europe. And it didn’t stay secret for long. Barry traversed the world, with a backpack full of bottles that contained a rosé blend free from gimmick, guided only by taste and elegance. A rosé that was sophisticated, but had a light flavor profile suitable for all occasions.

Today, RUMOR is a global brand, poured at the most prestigious venues around the world. It’s become the preferred choice of tastemakers.

RUMOR was born in Provence, but belongs to the world. Wherever you go, a sip of RUMOR puts you right where you should be.

  • A masterful blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Rolle grapes, RUMOR is an exceptionally drinkable blush pink rosé, suitable for every occasion. The exquisite bottle exudes fruit and sharp citrus aromas, combined with a crisp, dry, and well-rounded finish.
