Vintage Degenhart Heliotrope Purple Slag Glass Beaded Oval Toothpick Holder
Rare vintage slag glass toothpick holder by Degenhart is a pretty shade of marbled purple and lavender (this color is called 'heliotrope') and has a scalloped rim and textured detailing. The Beaded Oval toothpick holder was introduced in 1967 but wasn't marked with the Degenhart logo until 1972. This particular piece is unmarked and unbranded though. The Beaded Oval is a reproduction of a 1902 toothpick holder in Michigan pattern by U.S. Glass Company's Glassport, PA plant. Excellent vintage condition and perfect for holding toothpicks, cotton swabs, matches, cocktail picks, or makeup brushes. Rare and hard to find, especially in this color! Please note that we have 3 of these available, so the one you receive may vary slightly in pattern from the one shown in the photos.
Measures 2.25" at the widest diameter (2" in diameter at the top) x 2 5/8" tall.

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help!
