A moonshiner from Climax, VA, Tim Smith doesn’t like being told what he can or can’t do. So when people said he’d never go legit, he did it anyways. Despite his general disregard for authority, Tim’s become quite an authority himself. He knows what good, pure and strong should taste like. He may be legit, but make no mistake – Tim Smith and his Climax Moonshine are the real deal.

At any given moment you will find Tim’s dog Camo by his side. She has been Tim’s sidekick and ever present companion since his days in the backwoods of Virginia where she stood watch while he perfected his recipe for his world famous moonshine.

Camo is a unique breed of dog. She is a Catahoula Leopard dog, from Louisiana. Camo loves riding the 4 wheeler on her off time. Her unique color makes her perfect for hiding in the woods. Camo likes representing (her daddys) Tim Smith Climax Moonshine.

THE DISTILLERY

Our operation at Belmont Farm Distillery is family owned and operated. It is with great pride that our family at Belmont Farm has chosen to preserve a national tradition of copper pot still fresh whiskey in both our Virginia Lightning Corn Whiskey and our Kopper Kettle Virginia Whiskey.

PEACH TEA

In a cocktail glass

muddle about a quarter of a peach

1.25oz of moonshine

8 drops of peach bitters

Fill with ice and top off with sweet tea

shake and serve

WATERMELON MOONITO

In a cocktail glass

muddle 1oz of agave nectar

8 mint leaves & 4 cubes of watermelon

Add ice then 1.5oz of moonshine

Top with 50/50 mix of

Minute-maid Lemonade and Sprite

Box cocktail with a tin and serve

CARAMEL APPLE-SHINE TINI

1.5oz Climax Moonshine

1.5oz Brown Sugar & spice simple syrup

0.5oz monin salted caramel syrup

1.0oz angry orchard

In a tin, muddle a slice (chopped small) of macintosh apple, brown sugar & spice simple syrup and monin salted caramel syrup. Add ice and moonshine, shake & strain into a martini glass. top with angry orchard and garnish with an apple wheel
