Vintage 1:12 Miniature Dollhouse Stieff Pewter Bed Warmer
Vintage miniature Stieff brand bed warmer is shiny silver pewter with twisted detailing on the handle and an embossed design on the top. The lid is on a hinge and opens up, and inside is where you would put the heated coals to warm up a bed when retiring for the night before central heating was around. The other side of the bed warmer looks like it has some markings but we can't really make them out, even with a magnifying glass - a number 5 can be seen and what looks like the Stieff pitcher symbol but not much else on the serial number other than the 5 (please see photos). The piece is in overall excellent condition and perfect for your dollhouse bedroom.
Measures 1" in diameter x .5" thick x 3.75" long.

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
