Vintage Blue Printed Cotton Poplin Day Dress with Belt & Pockets by Betty Barclay

Cute vintage dress is a pretty shade of blue with an all over print in pink, green, black and orange. The dress has a high round neckline, short sleeves, darts, princess seams, large deep pockets (!!), thick blue piping at the neckline, sleeves, pockets and bodice with matching bows on the bodice, matching removable adjustable belt, and a full & swingy skirt. Hidden back zip closure. Unlined, but the fabric is thick. The brand tag reads "Betty Barclay". There are no fabric content tags, but it feels like a thick cotton poplin. The back of the belt is printed with "Atlas-Tex Backing" and "Designed by Betty Barclay" with the numbers 13A and 1030. The dress is in pristine condition and doesn't appear to have ever been worn and shows no signs of damage either. Believed to be from the 1940's-1950's. Marked a size 13, but as always with vintage clothing please compare the measurements listed below for the most accurate fit. Such a great dress with a unique print and so flattering!

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
