The baobab fruit naturally dried on the tree, where the delicious fruit pulp is protected within its hard inedible shell. The dry fruit pulp is carefully separated from the shell and made into a nutrient dense powder. There is no heat treatment or extraction process, leaving a pure nutritious whole fruit powder with a sweet, tangy citrus-like flavor. The large trunk of the Baobab tree can become hollow, while continuing to produce fruit, many times converted into post offices, bush pubs and jails, amongst other resourceful uses.
