Volt’s EV Car Fire Blanket is the most effective solution to extinguish Electric/Hybrid/Lithium battery fires, and also suitable for standard Combustion engine vehicles. The fire blanket quickly prevents the spread of fire, protecting surrounding vehicles, buildings, and other property. It also contains the smoke, toxic gas, and fumes under the blanket.

  • Size – Expanded: 9m x 6m x 0.45mm
  • Size – Bag: 59cm x 34cm x 26cm
  • Weight: 26kg
  • Multi-Use – Can be used multiple times (Pending intensity of previous incident and must be inspected prior to reuse)
  • Reinforced cross box stitch tabs on blanket for added strength and durability
  • Reinforced Aramid Edge Trimming for added strength and durability
  • Rated to a peak temperature of 1000°C/1832°F
  • 100% Fiberglass + Silicone Coated on both sides
  • 9m x 6m to suit passenger vehicles including SUV’s and Utes
  • Waterproof bag with durable carry handles to assist with a 2 person lift
  • Silicone coating ensures an airtight seal, quickly isolating and limiting the available oxygen for the fire to burn
  • Custom Sizing available on request:
    • 5m x 5m for Scooters, Bikes and Forklifts
    • 10m x 12m for Trucks and Buses
