Vintage Degenhart Heliotrope Purple Slag Glass Forget-Me-Not Toothpick Holder
Vintage glass toothpick holder by Degenhart in the Forget-Me-Not mould is a unique amethyst purple marbled slag glass color (the color is actually called 'Heliotrope'). The toothpick holder has flowers along the rim and three feet with leaf-shaped accents. The bottom of the inside is stamped with the Degenhart logo, a letter "D" inside a heart. Forget-Me-Not toothpick holders were first introduced in 1965 (but weren't stamped with the logo until 1972) and were a reproduction of an 1899 toothpick holder made in Vermont pattern by U.S. Glass Company's Adams plant in Pittsburgh. Excellent vintage condition and perfect for holding toothpicks, cotton swabs, matches, cocktail picks, or makeup brushes. A rare and hard to find piece, especially in this color!
Measures 2.25" in diameter x 2.5" tall.

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help!
