Legendary Texas Ranger, John Coffee Hays, named this powerful waterway the ‘Devils River’ in 1840, and from his ingenuity, our namesake was born. The naturally-filtered limestone spring water is considered the purest water in Texas. The iron-free, sweet spring water is ideal for crafting an unrivaled Sinfully Smooth Whiskey. EXCEPTIONALLY PURE WATER

Texas Ranger, John Coffee Hays, was one of the first explorers to find Devils River. At that time, the river was known to explorers as the San Pedro, named for St. Peter. Hays stood at the rough waters, peered into the deep canyons of this powerful river, and deemed it worthy of a much stronger name – The Devils River.

Starts peppery and quickly transitions into an oaky,honey, caramel medley.

COCKTAILS

DEVILS RIVER WATERMELON FIZZ
RECIPE:
Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Devils River Bourbon Whiskey
½ oz peach schnapps
½ oz lime juice
3-5 chunks of watermelon
Thyme
Ginger beer
Instructions:

Use a lime to rim the glass with juice then cover in sugar.
Place the chunks of watermelon and muddle until they become a pulp.
Add ice. ‘
Add the bourbon whiskey, peach schnapps, and lime juice and stir for 10 seconds.
Top with ginger beer and give another quick stir.
Activate’ the thyme by putting it in your hands and clapping them a few times then place it in the glass.
