Excedrin Migrane & Headache Paracetamol 250mg Aspirin 250mg Tablets 20 Pack
Excedrin Migraine & Headache is for the treatment of symptoms associated with migraine attacks. This medication contains both paracetamol and aspirin which ease the pain and fever associated with migraine. Aspirin also reduces inflammation and the caffeine increases the effects of the pain-relieving medication.

Excedrin is indicated in adults for the acute treatment of headache and of migraine attackswith or without aura.

How to Use:
Adults (18 years and older)
For headache:
The usual recommended dosage is 1 tablet; an additional tablet can be taken, with 4 to 6hoursbetween doses.Incase of more intense pain, it is possible to take 2 tablets.If needed,anadditional 2 tablets can be taken, with 4 to 6 hours between doses.
Excedrin is intended for episodic use, up to 4 days for headache.

For migraine:
Take 2 tablets when symptoms appear.If needed an additional 2 tablets can be taken, with 4to6 hours betweendoses.

Excedrin is intended for episodic use, up to 3 days for migraine.

For both headache and migraine, intake must be limited to 6 tablets in 24 hours.

The medicinal product must not be used fora longer periodor at a higher dosage without first consultinga doctor.Drink a full glass of water with each dose.

Use of Excedrin in children and adolescents is not recommended.

Warnings:

Do not give this medication to a child or teenager with a fever, flu symptoms, or chicken pox. Aspirin can cause Reye’s syndrome, a serious and sometimes fatal condition in children.

You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to acetaminophen (Tylenol), aspirin, caffeine, or any NSAIDs (Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Orudis, Indocin, Lodine, Voltaren, Toradol, Mobic, Relafen, Feldene, and others).

Aspirin may cause stomach or intestinal bleeding, which can be fatal. These conditions can occur without warning while you are taking this medicine.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to take this medicine if you have other medical conditions, especially if you have:

liver disease, cirrhosis, a history of alcoholism, or if you drink more than 3 alcoholic beverages per day;
asthma or seasonal allergies;
fever with a stiff neck;
stomach ulcer, stomach or intestinal bleeding, ulcerative colitis;
a bleeding or blood clotting disorder such as hemophilia;
kidney disease; or
if you use medicine to treat glaucoma or prevent blood clots.
If you take acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine to treat headache pain, seek medical attention if you have:

a headache so bad you have to lie down;
a headache that causes vomiting;
what feels like the worst headache you’ve ever had;
a headache that seems different from your usual headaches;
a headache every day;
a headache after coughing, bending, exercising, or head injury;
if you have never had migraines diagnosed by a doctor; or
if you are having your first headache after age 50.
Aspirin may be harmful to an unborn baby’s heart, and may also reduce birth weight or have other dangerous effects. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while you are taking acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine.

Aspirin, acetaminophen, and caffeine can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. You should not breast-feed while using this medicine.

Contains:

One film-coated tablet contains 250 mg acetylsalicylic acid, 250 mg paracetamol and 65 mg caffeine.
