The bark of its stem has been utilized for generations for its medicinal benefits and is regarded a suitable replacement for Ptychopetalum olacoides. Muira puama is an energetically warming herb known for its soothing properties and as a tonic herb for supporting the reproductive system's function. Muira puama bark is commonly used to make tinctures. It can either be used topically or decocted as muira puama tea.

Details:

Muira puama is an Amazonian rain forest understory tree. It has white blooms with a strong jasmine aroma and grows to reach 15 feet (5 meters) tall. The bark and root are used in the jungle's ancient herbal therapies. It can be drunk as a tea, but it's more potent as a tincture. Take the tincture with a small amount of warm water to which a little lemon juice has been added. This aids in the absorption of the tannins that are helpful. A capsule is another convenient option.
