The soft red winter wheat in our recipe provides intriguing depth and complexity to this ultimate American spirit. Our barrel strength offering is uncut and non-chill filtered.

THE DISTILLERY

Horse Soldier® Bourbon Whiskey is crafted by the U.S. Army Green
Berets who answered America’s call days after 9/11 with a daring
insertion, on horseback, into northern Afghanistan. This brave and
unconventional act earned them the moniker of “Horse Soldiers”. Our
team has been featured in the Hollywood movie 12 Strong, the CNN
documentary Legion of Brothers, and memorialized by America’s
Response Monument located at Ground Zero in New York City. The
Horse Soldier® glass bottle is molded by steel recovered from the World
Trade Center to commemorate the lives lost and never forgotten.

LEGENDARY MEN, LEGENDARY SPIRITS


Much of our brotherhood was forged in fire during the first days after the 9/11 attacks. Immediately following this affront on our nation, the USA responded with a daring insertion of small teams of Green Berets into northern Afghanistan. The Northern Alliance successfully overthrew Mazar-i-Sharif, a Taliban stronghold, with the support of these brave men. This region’s inhospitable, mountainous terrain made efforts and enemy engagements on wild Afghan horses a necessity for one Special Operations team (ODA595). Nicknamed the “Horse Soldiers”, all these brave men are honored today by America’s Response Monument overlooking “Ground Zero” in New York City.

We make history and continue to live legendary lives by instilling family values, adventurous spirits, and pride into Horse Soldier Bourbon Whiskey.

THE DISTILLERIES


COLUMBUS, OH
Our collaborative distilling process at Middle West Spirits gives our distillers access to multiple stills, invaluable insight and experience from world-class operators. Ohio offers the ideal climate for aging our bourbon.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL
Our small-batch American Vendome stills create artisanal rums, vodka and gins. Visit our urban stillhouse in Florida for an immersive distillery experience, including two state-of-the-art bars, educators, bourbon-inspired dining, and more!

SOMERSET, KY
Our journey has brought us home. Many of us are from the Bluegrass state, and naturally our call to arms was sounded during a training mission on the Cumberland River after the first WTC tower was hit. Pulaski County will be the location of Horse Soldier’s flagship production plant in the near future.
