A blend of 4+ year old Coppercraft-distilled and 9+ year old sourced Indiana bourbon creates a punchy, spicy whiskey. We use brandy blending and proofing techniques that take three months from barrel to bottle.

THE DISTILLERY

At Coppercraft Distillery™, our mission is to produce only the finest craft whiskeys as a tribute to the American Craftsman.

To this end, we distill, source, and blend choice ingredients from around the nation. Our whiskeys are heavily aged with strong oaky flavors like tobacco, cinnamon, toasted nuts, and toffee. Our gin and vodka are clear-cut, bright, and fresh.

Utilizing the cognac technique, each of our products explore the unique effects of different distillation methods, barrels, and aging environments. We use all of that distinction to produce intentionally crafted premium spirits.

OUR STORY
Coppercraft was founded as a tribute to the American Craftsman.
Coppercraft was founded in 2012, in Holland, Michigan. Our distillery is nestled in the manufacturing coast of West Michigan, where our inspiration is drawn from the legacy of industrious workers who created quality goods and exported their handiwork across the nation. The auto manufacturers, furniture craftsmen, farmers, and entrepreneurs of Michigan left an enormous heritage. They proved that craft and time yield incredible results.

Although we are relatively young, we are hardworking and passionate. Since our inception, we have continuously perfected and expanded our spirit offerings to include whiskey, gin, vodka, and rum. We were the first Michigan distiller to offer canned cocktails, and we are proud to be an official partner of the Detroit Lions. In 2018, we were named the Michigan Distillery of the Year by the New York International Spirits Competition. A year later, the Detroit Metro Times named us the Best Michigan Whiskey.

WATER, OAK, GRAIN & TIME
Our offerings include single-batch varieties and specialty craft bourbons. We distill a portion of our spirits onsite and macerate with fresh citrus fruits and botanicals. Blended spirits are combined, filtered, and aged to bring out unique flavors.

MASTER DISTILLER

Nancy Fraley, creator of numerous award-winning spirits, is a Whiskey and
Rum Master Blender and International Consultant through her firm, Nosing
Services, in Berkeley, CA. Nancy provides custom blending, product formulation
services, creation of maturation & warehousing programs, and sensory analysis
for distilleries worldwide. She also serves as Master Blender at Jos. Magnus & Co.
in Washington, D.C.
Nancy’s career in the distilled spirits industry began with Germain-Robin
brandy/Alambic Inc. in Ukiah, CA, one of the first craft distilleries in the U.S.,
From there, she went on to further study advanced blending techniques in
France.
Nancy is the Director of Research & Instructor of Blending and Nosing for Faults
with the American Distilling Institute, and also holds a faculty position at
Moonshine University in Louisville, KY. She is creator of the American
Craft Whiskey Aroma Wheel, a sensory tool for distillers and whiskey
connoisseurs. Nancy regularly contributes articles to the craft spirits industry
magazine, DISTILLER.
Nancy holds a Masters degree in World Religions, with an emphasis in Tibetan
Buddhism, from Harvard University, and a Juris doctor degree from The
University of San Francisco School of Law, with a focus on Maritime & Admiralty
law and International Human Rights. In 2017, Nancy was honored by her
undergraduate alma mater, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as a recipient
of the Religious Studies Charles H. Reynolds Distinguished Alumna Award. She
was also recently inducted into the Company of Armagnac Musketeers in France.

KENTUCKY OUTLAW
Kentucky Outlaw Cocktail with Coppercraft Bourbon
2 oz Coppercraft Blend of Straight Bourbon
0.5 oz orange juice
0.5 oz lemon juice
0.25 oz grenadine
2 dashes bitters


Put ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Shake and serve on the rocks.
